Moretonhampstead (known locally as Moreton) is a small historic town near the centre of Dartmoor National Park. It has four pubs, three tearooms/cafes and a wide range of shops and other facilities. There is a significant artistic community and many potteries, galleries and artist workshops.

The town is an excellent base for exploring the many attractions in both the local and wider areas.
